We live in a hedonistic age of instant gratification, in which objects tend to be
considered merely “toys”.
That fine yet substantial psychological line between being a child and an adult seems to be getting blurred. In fact, children are considered mini-adults, just like adults are only bigger-sized kids….
In such a sophisticated world, where our activities and rites are related to morally
useless living, objects are conceived as toys for grownups. They are created to
become pretend toys.
On the other hand, kids are enticed into playing their games using objects that imitate real adult activities. Activities instead that most adults tend to refuse.

These new Superego objects were designed as a paradox to bring back those very characteristics of the imagination that we have lost deep down in ourselves.
Through irony and pseudo-childishness, Superego fills in the dramatic void of
today’s way of living with its objects made to lighten life a bit, adding more fun with
a touch of superficiality, at least for a moment…  | A.Guerriero
